Marc Levine

Trained as a sculptor and silversmith at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, Marc Levine views his handbags as a natural outgrowth of both a lifelong desire to create “the perfect object” and a dissatisfaction with traditional sculpture materials. And his perfectionism and technological innovation have indeed won him critical acclaim.

Marc’s work has been exhibited at the American Crafts Museum in New York, The Smithsonian Institution in Washington and the British Crafts Centre in London as well as numerous other museums. His handbags and jewelry have appeared on the pages of Vogue and Smithsonian Magazine as well as at America’s prestigious galleries and juried craft shows where Marc has won significant awards.
